Humans need ritual & ceremony to create meaning
The world is rapidly changing, and many people, including myself, have left organized religion and are reconnecting to the Earth-based practices of our ancestors.
Change can be incredibly liberating and profoundly unsettling.
I believe that when we outgrow the old structures that provided containers for us to celebrate birth, death, and all the pain and pleasure in between, we have to create new rituals that meet the moment.
Humans need ritual and ceremony to create meaning and to remember what is truly important to us. One of the oldest archeological findings was a flower ceremony for a burial.
I am not a birth doula or a death doula.
I am a Wonder Doula helping you to reconnect to your soul and to the Earth, the great Mother of us all.
From my own journey out of the church, out of ministry, out of patriarchal and colonial religious structures, I have woven a tapestry of nature-centered, ancient wisdom traditions to meet modern times into my work of creating ceremony for life's important threshold moments.
For all the PLEASURABLE moments that need celebrating, like birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, first menses, weddings, anniversaries, pilgrimages, promotions and the like.
And for all the PAINFUL moments that need honoring like divorce, empty-nest, menopause, chronic or terminal illness, living funerals, and death.
I am your Ceremonial Artist and Wisdom Weaver, here to mark your threshold moment with the beauty it deserves.

In pre-Christian traditions, it was called the Magic Night which celebrated the mystical power of women.

In 2018, I became a certified 200hr. trauma-informed Yoga Instructor. My studies were a gateway into the energetic realms of Ayurveda, Sacred Geometry and Mandala work. I began making life-size mandalas as part of Yoga Teacher trainings. In late 2019/early 2020 I embarked on a pilgrimage to Northern India to deepen my practice.

a the divine feminine walking pilgrimage in France,
and ancestral pilgrimages in Ireland, Iceland and England.
I plan to finish walking the Camino de Santiago and would love to continue pilgrimage journey's across the globe.
