My name Shannon, is the derived from the Celtic Goddess, Sionnan, who was known for her self-sacrificing pursuit of wisdom.

Shannon also comes from the word seanchaidh, which means “skilled storyteller" who were carriers of the oral traditions of the Celts, who created, memorized, shared, passed on, and put into to song the legends of their ancestors.

Over the last decade I have been reconnecting to my Celtic and Norse ancestral practices, creating a blend of ancient wisdom for the modern need for ceremony and ritual.

My art is my song to the world and the way I pass on the wisdom of ancestors.

Photography and Videography are my mindfulness practices. I notice things thru the camera's lens that I may have missed in real life. I love creating a visual story of my daily life  sacred journeys and events.

I have traveled to 25+ countries across the globe, studied abroad in Europe, taught abroad in Asia.

I enjoyed a camel caravan pilgrimage in India, 

a the divine feminine walking pilgrimage in France, 

and ancestral pilgrimages in Ireland, Iceland and England.

I plan to finish walking the Camino de Santiago when I turn 50 and would love to continue pilgrimage journey's across the globe.

I'm new to Human Design, but find it to be a really interesting way of understanding energetics.

In this system, I am a 1/3 Splenic Manifestor. I rely heavily on my intuition to guide me. I am a curious soul who loves to go down esoteric rabbit holes and learn thru life experiences.

Manifestors are also said to sense astrological shifts before they occur. This has definitely been the case for me. One might say I was born to study magic, astrology and all things esoteric, since I was born on January 6th, Epiphany when it is said that "Wise Men" came following a star.  In pre-Christian traditions, it was called the Magic Night which celebrated the mystical power of women.

I find Vedic & Sidereal Astrology fascinating! I love the way the Eastern systems are based on the feminine, lunar understanding of the cosmos.

One day I will have the time to dive deep into studying Vedic astrology because I believe it is the most accurate and complex system of understanding our Universe.

In Tropical Astrology, I prefer a Evolutionary or Shamanic approach

Venus rules my chart as a Libra Rising and she is my Guiding Goddess.

I am a Capricorn Sun but I don't relate with traditional views of the Capricorn energy but I do relate the Sea Goats ability to scale the heights and then swim to the depths with its mermaid tale. 

 I most identify with my Scorpio Moon and 

Sagittarius North Node.

I am also very interested in the Asteroid Goddess Mythology.

Chinese Astrology has been one of my favorite self-discovery tools for the last decade. I really love the way the animal archetypes of the Chinese Zodiac reveal aspects of self in a more objective manner. It also provides a fantastic framework for understanding the overlying energy of the year. I think of Western astrology like your lines in a movie and Chinese Astrology is like knowing the film you are in each year. The Chinese Elemental Wheel is such a powerful tool to understand the underlying Energy we are bringing to our environment.

In Chinese Astrology, I am a Wood Tiger.

I am a 200 hour certified trauma-informed Yoga Instructor. I have dabbled in Ayurvedic studies and would love to dive deeper.

I'd also like to deepen my practice by learning how to teach Yin Yoga in the coming years.

I teach the Energetic Enneagram that aligns with the chakras. It's a somatic way of using the system and is closer to the Eastern/Esoteric origins of the tool.

Creating collages is one of my spiritual practices. All the artwork on my site is from my journey of self-discovery. I often incorporate collage and oracle card making into my events as a way of working with one's inner landscape.

I am very interested in all things archetype and tarot related.

I am currently being mentored in Tarot with San Diego's premier Tarot Reader, Hisa.
